Election Day

It's tuesday November 4th, 2008, Election Day. Today will most likely go down in History as one of the biggest and most defining moments in American history. Millions of people, all of different ages, ethnicity's, backgrounds, sex, and political views all united today as Americans with one common goal, To Vote.
Americans flocked to the voting booths in record numbers this year, many of whom, no doubt, are dissatisfied with the way that our country has been run for the last 8 years and who want the chance to make their voice heard on who can turn this country around in the right direction.
There are 13 candidates running for president this year, but only two men, Republican- John Mc Cain and Democrat Barack Obama will stand in out in the minds of Americans in the years to follow. Today, one of these men will be elected into the white house as the highest political official in the U.S. This gives Him"Commander-N-Chief" Power over our Armed Forces, The Ability to Sign into law or veto Bills passed by both Congressional Houses, create a Cabinet of advisors and, with the "Council and Consent" of the Senate, make treaties and appoint federal officers. This includes, ambassadors, federal judges, and Justices of the Supreme court. Quoting a jedi, "With Great Power, Comes Great responsibility." Today, a record number of people exercised their right and responsibility to vote for the candidate they thought would best be suited to handle the great power and responsibility that is "President of the United States."
This year is the fist year in America's illustrious history that a black man has made it to the front lines of a presidential race. Weather one likes him or not, Democratic Senator Barack Obama has captured the hearts of millions of americans with his visions of hope and change, his eloquence, charisma and passion for the middle class of america, and speeches that draw bigger crowds than a rolling stones Concert. He a Senatorial force to be reckoned with, he has an astonishing lead in almost every poll conducted, and, by the end of the day Barack Obama could very well be Americas next President.
His opponent, Republican Senator and "Political Maverick" as he likes to be called, is John Mc Cain. Over the years of his remarkable life, He has been a war hero, held a powerful seat in the Senate since 1986, and also fought and beat skin cancer. His essence of courage, leadership, and conservative and ideological ideals, make him a favorite amongst americans everywhere. Although he has been known to flip-flop on ideas and has a record of Voting in Conjunction with President Bush on an array of policies, by the end of the day, John Mc Cain can very well be the next president of the united states.
The Deciding factor of this election, no doubt, will have to come down to the issues that matter most to the american people. Although there has been plenty of mud slinging, and character attacks by each of the candidates promoting fear and unease of each other, the issues of our country are clearly the driving force in this election. Race, Religion, Gender, and inconceivable fear still play a huge part in this election, but they are heavily outweighed by the enormous amount of economic failure and major political issues that are shaking the nation. Obama and Mc Cain each have very different views on how to fix these issues, and if one doesn't know the full extent of their favorite candidates ideals, one should watch the news more closely the next four years.
Some of the key issues these candidates vow to fix is as follows, John Mc Cain plans to stay in Iraq until we finish this war in victory, Barack Obama plans to end the war, bring troops home, and seek out and destroy Osama Bin laden. Barack Obama plans to cut taxes for the middle class making under 250,000 a year, John Mc Cain Wishes to keep low taxes for "everyone" no matter their salary. John Mcain also supports an end to abortion rights, while Barack Obama wishes to keep this issue in the hands of the women who chose to have an abortion. Energy and dependence on foreign oil remains a key issue, but this issue has to come down to "Who does the voter believe will be a bigger force in this drop on oil dependence?"
Another huge factor is health care. Obama vows to make the same heath care available to the uninsured as he and his fellow members of congressmen get for themselves, all the while stating if one likes the doctor one has, one shall be able to keep the healthcare plane one has.
John Mc Cain states the american people will get a 5,000 dollar tax credit to seek out the doctor one chooses.
In Conclusion, both candidates are neck and neck in this race for the white house, but tonight, only one man will emerge victorious. We as Americans found it in our hearts to come together as one nation in epic proportions to have a say in who we believe will better this free country we have all grown to love. No Matter who we cast our ballot for, the voice of people screaming for change and a better leader is ringing loud in the ear of Washington. Tonight, change is coming... it could be for the better or for worse ,but nevertheless, change is coming.
Buckle your seat belts America, we are in for a four year ride, Let us have faith that we put the right driver at the wheel.

Discotech

There is a new phenomenon sweeping Discotheque's around the Country....Discotech!
Discotech is a group of three diverse Musical Scientists who joined forces to create Remixes, Mash-Ups, and Original Pieces of Disco Mastery that set the very soul of a dance floor on fire. Within The first year of their work together, their music has caught the attention of dj's around the globe and made them the top selling artists on one of the biggest remix websites today, "CrooklynClan.net." It is damn Near Impossible to go to a Night Club today and not hear a mix that they have finessed pumping through the speakers and electrifying the crowd. The unprecedented brain power of Danny Daze, Joe Maz, and Gigamesh combined with their sheer devotion to music is putting them leaps and bounds ahead of other remixers and dj's.
About Three years Earlier, Before Discotech was ever formed, I had met Danny Daze on myspace after receiving a friend request from him. He was already a big name dj on south beach, and he had a weekly residency at a rock club called "Automatic Slims" every wednesday night in Ft. lauderdale. I was Just getting my feet wet in the dj culture so I decided to check him out for some inspiration. Needless to say, I got the inspiration I was looking for, and his performance that night totally changed the way I looked at djing. Ever since then, I have been practicing and gigging almost everyday of the week, refining my style so that it stands out with just as much uniqueness as I heard that night at slim's.
Danny Daze Eventually Teamed Up With Joe Maz, a Night Club & Radio Mixshow Dj out of Minneapolis and Decided to get their remixes in the hands of Crooklynclan.net's founder Dj Sizzahands. After hearing their work, Sizzahands put them on the site, and within months, they became the top selling artists on the site. They began by making mash-ups that are so genius, Albert Einstein is rolling around in his grave trying to figure out how they do it. They Blended Jay-z with Led Zeppelin, T-pain with the Jackson-5 , Rick James with Snoop, but they did it in a way which can only be described as pure musical marriage, while keeping the integrity of the classic songs in tact. They also Specialize in tools for dj's that allow them to change the tempo of a mix, without losing the energy of the dance floor. Every week they make something so new and innovative, it leaves djs across america wondering, "What will they think of next?"
Joe Maz, Danny Daze & Gigamesh are now touring clubs all over the U.S.A so be sure to check out their myspace to see when they will be in a city near you. They have local residency's in Miami and Minneapolis and also make frequent stops in California, Las Vegas, and Other Big Cites. They are Truly Discotheque pioneers, and together, Disco-Tech will be setting the Trends for night club djs for years and years to come.
SpottieOttieDopaliscious

In my Opinion, Hip Hop today seems to be evolving into a very different style of music.
It seems to be drifting further and further away from its original essence of Fun, Funkiness, Creativity and style that it once had in the 80's and 90's.
As Hip Hip Slowly Transfigures, I stay Committed to preserving The Quintessence that once prevailed in earlier years.
SottieOttieDopalicious is a Superb track off of Outkast's 1998 Album "Aquemini"
This Album was one of the few albums ever to make 5 stars in "The Source" magazine and is probably one of my favorite albums of all time. The Track features a live trumpet section, funky bass riffs perfect for riding out in a candy painted caddilac and lyrics that are more poety than rapping.
Have a listen and tell me what you think!

Halloween At Nicole's Tavern
Just last friday, Halloween cast it's spell on Nicole's Village Tavern once again. It was the first time they had me, Nick Flash, dj for their party so you could imagine everyone's excitement when they heard this good news.
The whole staff was dressed up in really creative costumes which set the tone for a killer halloween party atmosphere. The Owner Ron had such an authentic Dracula outfit that people literally had to guard their necks when he loomed by. The gorgeous ladies bartending all had on retro 80's clothes that looked like they stepped out of a high school yearbook from 1984. Marcus, The only male bartender of the night painted himself green and topped his head with a black wig that made him a genuine "Hulk" replica. I wore some High Waisted green pants, Suspenders, a bow tie, Thick Glasses with tape around them and parted my hair in the middle which made me look so geeky looking even I wanted to beat myself up and take my lunch money.
There was A whole lot of other great costumes that our regulars wore so as I find pictures of the Night I Will post them In this Article.
Drinks were Flowing, The Dance floor was crazy as everyone danced the night away as if they were possessed by demons.
We gave away a multitude of prizes for the best costumes and some free meal certificates to savor Nicole's delicious and locally famous food menu.
The night was frighteningly fun, so If you weren't there you need to check out Nicole's ever thursday for ladies Night. There are Beautiful
Women, great drink specials poured by some of the best bartenders in town, and of course, Music by Nick Flash To keep you dancing and shaking your ass all night. See You all there Every Thursday!

Our lady Of The lakes 3rd Grade class of 1993
I Decided To Take a trip down memory lane tonight and open up my 3rd grade year book.
It is one of the few yearbooks I managed to hold onto throughout my years as a student.
It's Funny How memory works. I can remember each and every kid in my class and it leads me to wonder what direction everyone took with their lives since the third grade.
I can remember on one of my first best friends, Anthony Perez, and His Geeky Sidekick, Alex I. They ended up graduating high school together at Barbara Goleman Senior High, In Hialeah, and I'm sure they are still friends to this day.
There Was David Bustamante, The ladies man. Tony llera, The great sportsman. Michael Hayes, The Crybaby, who to this day had the messiest house I've ever been to.
Ryan Nieves, Still one of my friends to this day, was in this class with me, although I don't remember ever talking to him much...I think I cheated off one of his papers one time though.
There was Matt Van Bibber, our preppy class mate who always had a cool scheme reminiscent of Zach Morris from Saved by the Bell. I ended up bienggood friends with matt In high school, but kind of went our separate ways due to trivial differences.
Alex Pellerano liked to bully me, Robert Soto was really friendly, Patty Gill was a girl I had a crush on, and Evelyn Kunde was defiantly the female class clown.
I can't remember Chris Carballo, Rafael George, Jessica Placeres or Much ever even speaking to Nellie Marie. I wonder what they are remembered for today?
Amanda Lateulade was Pudgy, Leo was good at sports and had a Big Mushroom Cut, Ignacio Urbieto was real real smart, Brian Buzzella was a cool dude who a few years back I ran into at dada doing spoken word poetry here in Delray, Small world!

Genna Lamboy, Angela DeMahy, and Monica Pinto were the popular girls in class that didn't feel the need to befriend a kid with my degree of geekyness.
Carlos Santisteban was a cool kid who always had the newest jordans, freshest new clothes and all the newest toys. Chelseie Gibral Loved Horses, Mellisa Plana always said I reminded her of the Bobolli Commercial.
There is a few people I didn't list here but I remember just as well. Its getting late plus I have more important stuff to write about.
If anyone reading this was in Ms Joseph's third Grade Class with me please keep in touch with me!!!!
